A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a power pole in Parintins, Amazonas, on Saturday morning.
Ananda Batista, along with a friend, lost control of their motorcycle while attempting to avoid another vehicle on Rua 3 in the Paulo Corrêa neighborhood. The impact with the pole was severe, resulting in Batista’s immediate death.
The friend sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Emergency services responded to the scene, but unfortunately, Batista could not be saved.
