Manaus (AM) – On the afternoon of Friday, the 18th, a 39-year-old man named Hugo Bryan de Souza Castelo Branco tragically lost his life while working at a landfill situated at kilometer 19 of AM-010 in Manaus.
Reports indicate that Hugo was unloading materials from a dumpster when part of it collapsed while he was attempting to activate the vehicle’s beam, striking him on the head. The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m.
Hugo’s family arrived at the scene and were devastated upon confirming his identity. The incident caused significant distress among those present. Authorities, including the Criminal Police and the Civil Police of Amazonas, were summoned to investigate the circumstances surrounding Hugo’s death and any potential vehicle-related issues.
