In CCTV footage shared on a Facebook community group, a man was seen reaching through the front grille of an apartment unit to take underwear. He then stood outside the apartment and engaged in inappropriate behaviour before putting the item back.
The incident reportedly took place at an apartment building in Tanjung Bungah at 6:45 AM on October 20. A 31-year-old woman filed a police report about the incident a few hours later, around 1 PM.
According to Oriental Daily, the acting police chief of the Northeast district, Superintendent Lee Swee Sake, stated that the victim became aware of the man’s actions when her CCTV app alerted her to movement at her door. He confirmed that the case is currently under investigation.
