A bus driver in Buenos Aires was fatally stabbed yesterday evening by a passenger who was reportedly jealous of a previous relationship with the driver’s wife.
Leonardo Sebastián Figueroa, 43, was killed while driving his bus on Gumercindo Pereyra Street in the town of Glew. The attacker, identified as Calixto de Jesús Ojeda, 57, was arrested shortly after the incident thanks to witness testimony and security camera footage.
Police sources revealed that Ojeda had been involved in a romantic relationship with Figueroa’s wife in the past. The motive for the attack is believed to be jealousy and anger over the previous relationship.
