A man reportedly involved in an armed robbery attempt remains hospitalized under police guard after being shot by a licensed firearm holder during the incident at a bar on Friday night.
Authorities have initiated a manhunt for the man’s accomplice, who fled the scene.
According to reports, around 11:50 PM, two men entered the bar, one armed with a gun, and demanded cash and valuables from patrons. During the robbery, a licensed firearm holder confronted the armed assailant, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
The gunman and his accomplice then escaped the bar. Following a search, the suspected gunman was found on the roadway with gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the hospital for treatment, where he remains under guard. Police suspect the accomplice may also have been injured, as a blood trail was found near the scene.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
